There is a wooden tower to observe grass land animals such as antelope but is equipped with ramps as well as stairs. The paths through the various exhibits are smooth and strollers and wheelchairs have no difficulty maneuvering. One of these sweet little guys decided he loved my grand daughter and kept trying to stow away in her jacket pocket. The bird enclosure is full of multicolored parakeets that fly free and love to nibble on seed from specially constructed popsicle sticks. Some of my grand children's favorite pastimes were feeding the giraffes and alligator as well as the bird aviary. Visitors can feed and pet various animals and even a Llama who just might decide to spit. The animals are well cared for and content. Bottom line is if you were disappointed in the past, come back and enjoy the changes. Now a new day has come for this little zoo and new owners have taken great pains to restore and improve the property. This zoo was almost closed a few years back and had been poorly maintained.
